New Value Edition Trim Added to 2017 Elantra

2017 Hyundai Elantra - Hyundai Elantra Value Edition

At first glance, it seems like there are a lot of options when you’re looking to buy a compact car. But a closer look will reveal that it’s sometimes hard to find a balance between the price tag and the features that you want. That’s no longer the case, however, in the options presented by Hyundai’s compact car, the Elantra.

The new Hyundai Elantra Value Edition trim level was introduced by the company in order to fill that sweet spot. It’s affordable and full of convenient features that might otherwise be pricey if added on as extras. As the company continues to improve its lineup of sedans with each model year, they strive to offer cars to fit every car-buyer’s unique set of needs. The 2017 Elantra Value Edition is a great option for buyers who want something a little more than a basic car to get them from A to B.

The new Value Edition trim level includes a number of great features for added convenience, comfort, and safety. For one thing, all 2017 Elantras are now made of 53% high-strength steel, creating a stronger and sturdier foundation. The Value Edition trim also includes standard features like Bluetooth phone and audio compatibility, cruise control, and convenient steering wheel-mounted controls for safe, hands-free connectivity.

Hyundai LogoVolkswagen has held a good portion of the hatchback market for years, but now Hyundai is stepping up to the plate. The Korean automaker recently revealed the new Hyundai i30 hatchback ahead of the 2016 Paris Auto Show. Closely related to the Elantra sedan, the new Hyundai i30 could come to the United States as well as Europe.

The new Hyundai i30 will features several gasoline and diesel engines for European customers. All engines are four cylinders and Hyundai plans to add a turbocharged three-cylinder engine to the lineup.

Like most Hyundai models, the i30 will feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support as well as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and more.

The Hyundai i30 is the direct successor to what’s known as the Elantra GT in the United States. We’re still waiting to see if the new i30 will make its way to our shores. While nothing is confirmed just yet, the hatchback could provide stiff competition in America.

Perhaps most interesting of all is that Hyundai has confirmed the new i30 will serve as a base for the new N performance division.
