The 2017 New York Auto Show proved to be a tremendous success for Hyundai, who premiered the 2018 Hyundai Sonata. There, we were able to check out some of the Sonata’s many exterior upgrades, as well as its new performance details and safety features.
Visually, the new Sonata fits in well with the rest of the Hyundai line-up, with a mesh-like grille that cascades across the front of the vehicle. Ultimately, the vehicle manages to look both classic and modern at the same time.
The model is also available with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which allows drivers to seamlessly sync their devices to their vehicles. This way, you can access your personal contacts or preferred apps without looking at your cell phone behind the wheel.
The new Sonata is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen that allows you to access your personal music library, edit the navigation system, and much more. There’s also a USB charging port, so that passengers can charge up their devices or control the audio.

Perhaps most importantly, the Hyundai Sonata will get a serious safety upgrade, with new features including Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and High Beam Assist. These types of safety systems exist to aid drivers even in the event of unknown dangers.
