According to a study done by J.D. Power, Hyundai offers some of the best in-car tech in the mass market. This was the first study of its kind and asked new car owners to rate their car’s technology within the first 90 days of ownership.
Car owners rated their cars based on its entertainment features, overall connectivity, navigation, collision avoidance, driving assistance features, and comfort and convenience technology. With the results of the study, J.D. Power found that drivers were most satisfied with their collision avoidance technology. In addition, it was the most-used in-car tech. These features were also something that buyers were willing to pay more for to get.
J.D. Power used surveys from 13,269 consumers who purchased a leased a 2016 model. Both the Hyundai Genesis and Tucson achieved the highest rankings in their respective segments.
“Advanced safety and convenience technologies are top of mind for many drivers, and we are thrilled that our models are exceeding expectations in these crowded segments,” said Mircea Gradu, director, engineering & quality for Hyundai Motor America.
Here at Gossett Hyundai South, we are proud of all the technology offered within the Hyundai lineup. If you have any questions about the technology inside your Hyundai, we are here to help.
