Volkswagen has held a good portion of the hatchback market for years, but now Hyundai is stepping up to the plate. The Korean automaker recently revealed the new Hyundai i30 hatchback ahead of the 2016 Paris Auto Show. Closely related to the Elantra sedan, the new Hyundai i30 could come to the United States as well as Europe.
The new Hyundai i30 will features several gasoline and diesel engines for European customers. All engines are four cylinders and Hyundai plans to add a turbocharged three-cylinder engine to the lineup.
Like most Hyundai models, the i30 will feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support as well as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and more.
The Hyundai i30 is the direct successor to what’s known as the Elantra GT in the United States. We’re still waiting to see if the new i30 will make its way to our shores. While nothing is confirmed just yet, the hatchback could provide stiff competition in America.
Perhaps most interesting of all is that Hyundai has confirmed the new i30 will serve as a base for the new N performance division.
We at Gossett Hyundai South can’t wait to see if the new i30 makes it to our shores!

How do you know it’s been a good month? When no month before has ever been as excellent, of course!
Hyundai October sales have been revealed as the best in the automaker’s history, with 60,005 units sold—up a whopping 20% over the same period last year—making it a very good month indeed.
Driving the sales forward were the all-too-popular SUVs and CUVs, represented by the Hyundai Tucson, Santa Fe, and Santa Fe Sport, which attract hundreds of prospective customers every week at Gossett Hyundai.

That’s not to say sedans didn’t do well either: the Elantra had its best October ever with sales up 24% and the Veloster appealed to even more sports car fans than usual with sales up 30%.
It seems new car shoppers really do know where to find the good stuff!
